Shark Reef

The Shark Reef may be Typhoon Lagoon’s most unique attraction. It is located at the back right corner of the park. In it, guests may learn the basics of snorkeling and may take a quick swim with a wide array of ocean creatures, including small sharks, rays, and a variety of tropical fish. The swim lasts for about 60 feet until you reach the opposite side of the pool. This is a saltwater pool, so it has the feel (and smell) of the ocean. There are no height requirements although this is probably not appropriate for very young children. For $20 per half hour per person, guests can try surface air snorkeling and swim in the pool for extended times. Fins, masks, snorkels, and life vests are provided.
