Beach

The beach areas at Typhoon Lagoon are large and widespread. The main beach area surrounds the surf pool on three sides, with the largest areas by the shallow end. There are also beach areas by the Crush ‘n’ Gusher pool, by the main entrance to Castaway Creek, and near the Shark Reef. These areas are more for tanning purposes and can be nice as they tend to be less crowded and away from the masses in the water. The beach areas are loaded with chairs, but on very busy days getting one can be tricky, especially at the surf pool. If that is a priority for you, make it your priority upon entering the park.
