Wide World of Sports

Disney’s Wide World of Sports is the sports fan’s ultimate in being at a resort. You can watch all kinds of sporting events here, from national basketball and cheerleading championships to professional baseball and football. Plus, there are many other events along the way. This is the home of the Atlanta Braves spring training each spring and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp each summer. It serves as the site of multiple Amateur Athletic Union national championship events. The complex also hosts a variety of other events, including the Disney Channel games, which are scheduled each April. The Wide World of Sports complex has two arenas, one baseball stadium, one full track, multiple practice football/soccer fields, a baseball/softball complex, a sports-themed café, a sports-themed store, and a fun, sports-themed playground.
