Tomorrowland Transit Authority
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom is one of the most relaxing rides at Walt Disney World. It is mostly outdoor, but it is under a covering. Because the ride moves slowly, there is usually a slight breeze. You enter the ride in the middle of Rockettower Plaza. You go up the moving belt to the loading area. The loading and unloading areas are on a moving belt also, as the cars do not stop. Watch your step, then enter the car. Each car has two seats, one facing forward and the other backward. Both directions get plenty of views. Two adults can fit in each seat. You then begin the slow ride through Tomorrowland. Highlights include going into Space Mountain and getting unique views of it (notice the red flashes), going by Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and the view of Cinderella Castle from various points. This works its way through most of Tomorrowland, so you see just about everything. This is a great place to rest, cool off, and enjoy the park. The cars move slowly, with a few controlled turns.
