Goofy’s Barnstormer

The Barnstormer at Goofy’s Wiseacre Farm in Mickey’s Toontown Fair at the Magic Kingdom has two unique distinctions.  First, at a ride time of 55 seconds, it is the shortest attraction at the Magic Kingdom.  Second, it is the only roller coaster at Walt Disney World specifically targeted for the youngest children.  This means you can expect long lines most of the day, filled with children under 10 who can’t wait to ride a true roller coaster but aren’t quite ready for the Magic Kingdom mountains.  You enter this through Goofy’s barn and weave your way through a long maze of ropes and lines.  Once you reach the top loading area, you step into Goofy’s airplane and see how well he can fly.  The answer – not well.  So, you zig and zag through the barnyard area and through the barn itself. 

This ride is pretty jerky so if health is a concern, it should probably be skipped.  The seats are individual seats and are fairly tight, making it a challenge for taller people.
