Liberty Square Riverboat
The Liberty Square Riverboat in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom is a leisurely riverboat ride around Tom Sawyer Island. You begin at the dock which is in the middle of Liberty Square, just down the promenade from The Haunted Mansion. There is rarely a wait more than one round trip on the boat, so you should be able to get on the next ride. The boat leaves the dock on each hour and half hour. The boat moves slowly around Tom Sawyer Island, giving you great views of the Frontierland promenade, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, and The Haunted Mansion, in addition to the island. There are a few spots on the island that are unreachable by walking, making them specially there for the riverboat. There are three levels on the boat, each with a deck and viewing areas. At the back of the boat is the big spinning wheel that churns through the water to propel the boat forward. There is some seating available but the best views are seen by standing next to the railing. This is a smooth, consistent ride that is comfortable for virtually anyone.
