Jungle Cruise
The Jungle Cruise in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom is one of Walt Disney World’s classic attractions. You begin by entering the area from the Adventureland promenade across from The Enchanted Tiki Room Under New Management. After going down a few steps, you find the line, which winds around quite a bit. This is one of those attractions that misleads you visually on how long the line is. It looks like you’re close and then a turn occurs and you go much farther away. This is why it is important to pay attention to the waiting time signs, and if at all possible, use FASTPASS.
Once you get to the end of the line, you enter a boat. This requires a step down into the boat. You move to a bench seat on the sides of the boat. The guide drives the boat and provides commentary (attempted to be humorous) on your adventure. The boats hold around twenty people. The boat floats through the various riverways of the backwoods of Adventureland. You will encounter numerous wild animals (audio-animatronics). Enjoy the waterfall (especially those on the left of the boat). The boat is a pretty smooth ride with no hills or drops, so virtually anyone can ride.
This is a classic and will appear outdated to some, but is still extremely popular, and loved by young children.
