Enchanted Tiki Room
The Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom is a unique attraction based on audio-animatronic birds. The “new management” name refers to a change a few years back when Iago (Aladdin) and Zazu (Lion King) were introduced as the main characters. Upon entering this attraction, which is located just to the left of the Magic Carpets of Aladdin entrance, you move into a three-level standing line. There you are entertained by a pre-show. Once it is time for the main show, you enter the theater room. In this room there are five rows of bench seats in two sections. In the middle is a tropical/mystical tower. The birds banter throughout the show and the sights are very interesting. However, there are loud noises, flashing lights, and a somewhat scary part involving the center tower and a volcano goddess. This is a mystical show, so those offended by that element (mystics, gods, etc…) should consider whether to watch. Young children will likely either love this attraction or be scared by it.
