Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage
Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage on Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is an excellent short presentation of the Disney animated and Broadway classic. We believe this is one of the top five live performances at Walt Disney World. The show is performed in the Theater of the Stars, which is located on the right side of Sunset Boulevard, between Carthay Circle and the entrance to Fantasmic. The theater is an open air venue with a covered top (canopy). This helps ease the weather issues, but we still suggest going early of late to avoid the main heat of the day. Roughly 15 minutes before the show, a group called “4 For A Dollar” will begin entertaining the crowd. The group is four men who sing and mix in comedy. That are really good, so try not to miss them. Once Beauty and the Beast begins, you will be amazed by the costumes, pageantry, and sets. It is truly a great production. There are five scenes, with each having one song from the soundtrack. Songs include Belle, Be Our Guest, and Beauty and the Beast. This is a show that you don’t want to miss, especially if you love the theater, and/or have young children. Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage may well be the highlight of your vacation for young “princesses.”
