Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat

Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat on Hollywood Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the most visible icon of the park.  It has become to Disney’s Hollywood Studios what Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, and the Tree of Life are the other three main Walt Disney World theme parks.  It was not part of Hollywood Studios’ original construction and many Disney fans feel it is out of place.  But it is there and is the clear symbol of the park.  It sits in the Hollywood Boulevard plaza in front of The Great Movie Ride.  Underneath Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat is a small shop where you can get some basic souvenirs, including Disney pins, and supplies such as film.
