Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream
Walt Disney: One Man’s Dream on Pixar Place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of our favorite attractions at Walt Disney World. It is not “thrilling” or “exciting” or even “cute.” But it is very deserved by the man who spent his entire life seeking to bring happiness and joy to others. It is located on the right side of Pixar Place. You enter into the museum area. Once inside, there are displays of both sides, and sometimes in the middle, chronicling Walt Disney’s life. As you move further through, you begin to see elements of his plans for Disney theme parks. At the end of the museum are miniatures and models of many of the main Disney icons, including Cinderella Castle, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Typhoon Lagoon, Epcot, Disneyland Paris, and many more. At that point, you can enter the small theater for a film about Walt Disney’s life. The theater is very comfortable and is usually not terribly crowded. This is one of the least popular attractions at Hollywood Studios, but for those who who appreciate Walt Disney and what he accomplished, it is a must-see.
