Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located near the World Showcase promenade, on the right side of the Norway pavilion. It is housed in a replica of the Akershus Castle, which was built in the 1300s. The food here is a koldtbord buffet, or cold buffet. This includes lots of meats, cheeses, salads, and other cold food items. It is now harder to get reservations here since Princess Storybook Dining started. There is a breakfast, which occurs before Epcot and/or the World Showcase are open. At the breakfast, you might see between three and five of the Disney princesses. At lunch and dinner, there are likely to be one or two. The princesses roam the room and meet guests for small chatting, autographs, and pictures.
