Mexico
Mexico is on the far eastern side of the World Showcase, and is the nation closest to Future World and the World Showcase plaza on the east side. There are a couple of small shops and a good counter service restaurant along the promenade on the lagoon side. The rest of Mexico is inside the giant Aztec pyramid. Once you enter the pyramid, you will notice that it is always night inside. There will be a couple of historical and cultural displays in the lobbies. Then you will make it to the entrance to the main area of Mexico. You will be looking over a large plaza. In the front is a series of street shops. Toward the middle is the tasty San Angel Inn, and open-air restaurant with views of the mountain in the background and the shopping plaza in the foreground. To the back left is the Gran Fiesta Tour, which takes you on a serene boat ride through the back of the pyramid. This includes a close up of the mountain and the beautiful Mexican scenery carefully recreated here. Mexico is definitely a place where you can enjoy romance, as there is dim lighting and plenty of candles. The scenery inside the pyramid is beautiful. And yes, you can find plenty of street bargains if you look.
