O Canada
O Canada is located at the back of Canada, tucked into the mountains. You can access it by going through Victoria Gardens and following the mountain pathways along the stream or by going through the village and going down the hill into the entrance. O Canada is actually inside one of the mountains, and its entrance is through rocky terrain. Once into the waiting area, you will likely be treated to Canadian humor by the attendant. The doors will then open and you will walk into the main theater room. There are rows with rails for stabilizing yourself, although they request that you don’t lean on the rails. There really isn’t a good or bad place to be here. Surrounding the viewing area is the large video screens that make up the O Canada presentation. This is a 360 degree Circlevision show, meaning that there is action on screens around the room. Sometimes the video is uniform on all screens, such as landscape panoramic shots. At other times each screen has a different shot. The presentation begins with an introduction by Martin Short, the Canadian actor who serves as your host and narrator. You are then shown a wide variety of Canadian life, including cities, mountains, parades, ceremonies, and much more. At one point the screens will fill with famous Canadians. See how many your group can identify. We believe O Canada is one of the Walt Disney World’s best presentations. If the standing doesn’t bother you, you will likely find this to be fascinating, both from the video content and from the presentation format.
