Ellen’s Energy Adventure
When you enter the Universe of Energy pavilion, you will be led into a large waiting room with video screens on the far wall. Once it is time for the show to begin, the entire wall will light up in video and you will watch an eight minute energy show. At this point, doors open below the screens, and you led into a large room with a three section auditorium seating area. Once everyone is in, the video presentation begins in that room, featuring Ellen DeGeneres competing on Jeopardy with Albert Einstein and her college roommate Judy. Alex Trebek hosts. The discussion is energy and Ellen is doing poorly. She calls her friend and Bill Nye (the science guy) to help. He decides to lead her on an historical tour of energy on the Earth. Soon, the auditorium begins to move and the sections break apart. The sections move slowly through the rest of the pavilion, where you see dinosaurs roaming and a jungle habitat. You then reenter the main room and watch the rest of the video, which includes Bill and Ellen taking a global tour of energy production and consumption. The auditorium holds 580 people, so even if there’s a long line, you may get into the next show.
