Manatee Area

The Manatee Area in The Seas with Nemo and Friends is located in Sea Base Alpha, after you exit the ride. It is on the second floor, to the left of the entrance to the Observation Deck. If you have sealife lovers in your group, this may prove to a much longer than expected stop. This is actually a clinic/laboratory for Manatees, where injured animals are brought, studied, and nursed back to health. They are then often released back into Florida’s saltwater waterways. By spending some time here and watching the technicians, you can learn quite a bit about the lifestyle and environment of these gentle giants.
