Planet Hollywood
Planet Hollywood is the movie-themed restaurant that is housed in a building shaped like the Earth, and sitting in Village Lake. On the grounds outside you can look at some famous equipment from popular movies, including the amphibious helicopter from Batman Forever and the fishing boat from Forest Gump. You climb the steps to essentially the second floor to enter the restaurant. The lobby has merchandise in it, and the dining area is loaded with movie-themed memorabilia. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, pasta, steak, fajitas, mahi mahi, and chicken. The food is good, but that’s not why most people come here. Planet Hollywood is on the far eastern end of the West Side, adjacent to the parking lot.
