Bongos Cuban Café

Bongos Cuban Café is a fun, tropical restaurant that will make you think you are in Havana. The Cuban food here, consistent with so many other Cuban outlets across the state of Florida, is very good. The menu is very large, with a great number of selections, including chicken dishes, seafood dishes, and pork dishes. We think all of their dishes are good, although we tend to like the basic Cuban sandwich. This probably stems from the fact that restaurants around the world don’t know how to make authentic Cuban sandwiches, and it’s a treat to actually find a real one. The menu also includes a large dessert and drink section. Bongos Cuban Café has a full bar and an express window. It is located near the middle of the West Side on the Village Lake side of the promenade and next to the open park area.
