Summit Plummet

Summit Plummet is the visual symbol of Blizzard Beach and sits at the back center of the park. It is designed to look like a ski jump and probably has a similar feel, minus the snow. You may access the top by riding the chairlift. Upon reaching the top, you will note that you are ready to drop 120 feet almost straight down. There is no hump or dip in the middle. You start to drop at the top of the mountain and end up on the slide at the bottom of the mountain. Some riders may reach 60 miles per hour. In fact, there is a speed board for onlookers to see how fast someone comes down. It’s kind of like a pitching radar gun in baseball, with you being the fastball. Needless to say, it is quite important to secure your swimsuit. There is a minimum height of 48 inches.
