Rainforest Cafe
The Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom may well be the most unique restaurant at Walt Disney World for one reason. You can enter it from both inside and outside the park. This means you do not have to be admitted to Animal Kingdom to eat here. This is unique among Walt Disney World restaurants. As for the Rainforest Cafe itself, it is very similar to the chain of Rainforest Cafe’s across the United States. The interior is decorated like a jungle, with animals (not real), vines, waterfalls, and other jungle decor. The food is pretty good, although some will feel it is too chainlike for a resort destination. There are two Rainforest Cafes at Walt Disney World, this one and a Rainforest Cafe at the Downtown Disney Marketplace.
From outside Animal Kingdom, the Rainforest Cafe entrance is to the left, near The Outpost Shop. From inside Animal Kingdom, the Rainforest Cafe entrance is to the left of the gates as you face The Tree of Life. In addition to the dining area and the decor, there is a shop inside the Rainforest Cafe that sells Rainforest Cafe merchandise.
