Tree of Life

The Tree of Life on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom is the main symbol of the park.  It is to Animal Kingdom what Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, and Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat are to the other three Walt Disney World theme parks.  Like those other symbols, it is located centrally, on Discovery Island, and serves as a guide to guests throughout the park.  If at all possible, take the time to look at the outside of the tree and the incredible craftsmanship that went into building it.  Inside the Tree of Life is the 3D Theater Show “It’s Tough To Be A Bug.”
