Dinosaur
DINOSAUR in DinoLand U.S.A. in Animal Kingdom is located at the extreme front of the park, but is only accessible by going through Discovery Island to DinoLand U.S.A. and then to back of DinoLand U.S.A. It is actually the Animal Kingdom attraction closest to the parking areas, but you would never know it when you are there. This is a true thrill ride, making it one of two at Animal Kingdom. The other, obviously, is Expedition Everest. Upon boarding your very unique vehicle you are whisked back to a time when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Your journey takes you through some interesting areas, and your vehicle is approached by some interesting characters. This is not a ride for the easily frightened or squeamish. The vehicle jerks violently at times. It is essentially a motion simulator on a track. If you like thrills, don’t miss DINOSAUR. As you exit, you pass through the Dino Institute Shop, where you can pick ride-related and dinosaur souvenirs.
