Dinoland U.S.A.

DinoLand U.S.A. is the least “zoo-like” of Animal Kingdom’s lands. It has a roller coaster, a playground, carnival games, a cycle ride, a great theater show, and an incredible thrill ride. While all of these are themed on animals, they are either fictional (Nemo) or extinct (dinosaurs).

DinoLand U.S.A. is to the right as you enter the Animal Kingdom gates. Like the entire park, you must proceed through the Oasis, across the bridge to Discovery Island, and then across the bridge, to the right of the Tree of Life, to DinoLand U.S.A. Once here, you can enjoy Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama, where you can find Fossil Fun Games, Primeval Whirl, Triceratop Spin, and Dino-Bite Snacks. Or you can be thrilled at the uniqueness of DINOSAUR. You can shop at Animal Kingdom’s largest shop, Chester and Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. Or you can enjoy McDonald’s food at Restaurantosaurus. Don’t forget the incredible show Finding Nemo-The Musical. And the little ones will enjoy The Boneyard and the Kid’s Discovery Club.

As you enter DinoLand U.S.A., you will come to Dino-Sue, an exact replica of the largest Tyrannosaurus Rex ever discovered. Dino-Sue is 40 feet long and 13 feet tall and sits above you on a bridge over the promenade.
