Greeting Trails

The Greeting Trails at Camp Minnie-Mickey at Animal Kingdom are a great way to meet popular Disney characters on safari.  These trails are located across from the Festival of the Lion King.  There are four trails.  Each one begins at the promenade and winds into the woods to a covered hut.  That is where you will meet the character.  The character usually spends roughly one minute per guest, signing autographs, giving hugs, and posing for pictures.  Disney employees will also take your pictures and you can purchase them using PhotoPass.  Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse are always here.  Donald Duck and Goofy usually join them.  Note that the characters take breaks and do not appear during the afternoon parade.  For some young children, these trails could very well be the highlight of an entire vacation.  If the line is long, grab some ice cream at nearby Camp Soft Serve and enjoy it while you are waiting.
