Festival of the Lion King

The Festival of the Lion King at Camp Minnie-Mickey at Animal Kingdom is one of the best live performances at Walt Disney World.  This is an incredible musical and acrobatic presentation that weaves together the story of the Lion King with amazing effects.   By now, you can probably tell we really like this show.  The Festival of the Lion King is located to the right of the main promenade into Camp Minnie-Mickey, across the little bridge and to the left.  It is across the promenade from the Greeting Trails.  The show lasts roughly 30 minutes, making it a nice place to unwind and rest.  But the performance will most likely keep you watching intently.  The stars of the show are Timon, Pumba and Simba, along with the acrobats and musicians  This show is mostly in the dark and can be very loud, so be careful if young children have a problem with that.
